New Senior Coach Paul McCormack has excelled in his first few months at the helm of the Old Brighton Grammarians Football Club bringing new ideas, enthusiasm and energy to the playing group.
In his opening address to the players for 2010 he spoke of the importance for the group to be tight. He said "Collectively we must ensure we create an environment where we all want to be here. If we're a tight unit that enjoys one another's company and training hard with one another on the track then we will become a team that is hard to beat"
On how his wants the team to play he said "It's simple, we want to be fiercely competitive". He also spoke about the departure of some of the clubs senior players "We've had some blokes leave the club, but the positive thing to come out of that is that ultimately we will have a committed group of blokes who want to be here and want to play with one another".
Club Stalwart Leigh Hendra has thoroughly enjoyed what Paul's brought to the table so far, he said "He's got a really weird sense of humour, it's slightly awkward, but real funny "
President Rob Jakobi said "Standing from the side lines it's obvious the boys are enjoying being coached by him. He's brings a very positive vibe to the place, you can see already that he's going to have these blokes really playing for him".
