Young Tonners shine in the U/19s Showcase

Cooper Dowe, Mason Szonyi and Ollie Aloi stood tall as part of the South side in the Holmesglen Under 19s Showcase held over the bye round at Elsternwick Park.

In the North v South clash, 46 of the VAFA's best young talent proved more than worthy of selection, showcasing a high level of speed and skill and producing a tightly held contest. While the game was in the balance at 3/4 time, the south side dominated the final term kicking seven goals to none and claiming a 49-point victory.

All Tonners played an exceptional match, and congratulations to Mason being named in the best.
